Terraces stepping toward the shoreline, each one a horizon line in concrete.

Strand is a stack of horizons. Each terrace is set back from the one below so the building dissolves into a series of lines when seen from the water.

Planting is held to the edges; the surfaces stay bare. The landscape supplies the only softness the project allows.
